Vertices, CAM, Desai Diwanji, Anoma Legal act on Agritech player Agnext $ 21 million Series A funding

The funding round was led by Alpha Wave Incubation (AWI) fund and saw participation from existing investors including Omnivore and Kalaari Capital

Agritech start up AgNext raised USD 21 million in its Series A round of funding led by Alpha Wave Incubation (AWI) fund.

Existing investors Omnivore and Kalaari Capital also participated in the round.

Vertices Partners acted for Agnext and Promoters with a team led by Managing Partner, Vinayak Burman.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted for Alpha Wave Incubation with a team led by Partner, Akshay Bhat.

Desai and Diwanji acted for Omnivore and the team was led by Partner Siddharth Mody and Associate Partner Rahul Deodhar.

Anoma Legal acted for Kalaari Capital.

AgNext intends to use the funds raised to enter newer commodities, strengthen pan-India presence and expand to international markets including the Middle East, Europe, and South Asia.

Additionally, the company will also establish a new office in Abu Dhabi for deeper penetration into the targeted markets by diversifying its commodities portfolio.
