SAMHI Hotels Limited is set to acquire a 70% majority stake in RARE India.

Antares Legal is advising SAMHI Hotels on this acquisition.

The transaction team consists of Surbhi Kothiala (Partner), Siddharth Bhavnani (Partner), Associates Yashraj Chauhan, Priyanshi Aggarwal and Moksh Roy.

RARE India, established in 2003 by Shobha Rudra, is one of India’s earliest and largest platform of heritage hotels, retreats and experiential stays. RARE India has 67 hotels and 990 rooms spread across more than 15 Indian states, and also operates in Nepal and Bhutan.

This acquisition marks SAMHI Hotels' entry in the experiential leisure segment.
