Argus Partners, IndusLaw assist SolarSquare Energy in Series A fundraise

The funding round raised ₹100 crores.

SolarSquare Energy Private Limited, a Mumbai based Cleantech solar rooftop startup, raised ₹100 crore in Series A funding round, led by Elevation Capital and Lowercarbon.

Argus Partners has acted as the legal counsel for SolarSquare Energy.

The transaction team consisted of Ankit Guha (Partner), Tushar Thimmiah (Principal Associate) and Kushagra Kumar (Associate).

SolarSquare designs, installs and finances rooftop solar systems for homes. The B2C services are offered currently in six markets.

The newly infused funds will be used to accelerate the mass adoption of rooftop solar in Indian homes.
