AZB, CAM, Latham act on TCS securing ₹9,000 crore investment from TPG for AI data centre HyperVault

TCS will also be investing approximately ₹9000 crore to establish HyperVault, a ₹18,000 crore AI data center initiative.

Tata Consultancy Services Limited has secured approximately ₹9,000 crore investment from TPG for its subsidiary HyperVault AI Data Center Limited. 

AZB & Partners advised TCS and HyperVault on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Nandish Vyas (Senior Partner), Nilanjana Singh (Senior Partner), Devika Nayak (Partner), Shreshth Bhartia (Senior Associate), Shivani Shenoy (Senior Associate), Associates Meghna Somani, Anika Kumar and Sahil Agarwal.

TCS will also be investing approximately ₹9000 crore to establish HyperVault, a ₹18,000 crore AI data center initiative. With plans to develop up to 1.2 GW of capacity - equivalent to the total combined capacity of all of India’s existing data centers - TCS is positioning itself at the forefront of the global AI landscape.
