CAM acts on Lenexis Foodworks acquiring controlling stake in Restaurant Brands Asia

Lenexis Foodworks Private Limited has acquired a controlling stake of 11.26% in Restaurant Brands Asia Limited for approximately ₹460 crore from the existing promoter and member of promoter group of the Company, namely QSR Asia Pte. Ltd. and F&B Asia Ventures (Singapore) Pte. Ltd

The transaction also includes a proposed infusion of nearly ₹1,500 crore via subscription to equity shares and warrants of the Company by way of a preferential issue, triggering an open offer for an aggregate consideration of up to ₹3,416 crore.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas is acting as legal counsel to Restaurant Brands Asia and QSR Asia on this transaction.
