CAM advises Dixon on acquiring 51% shareholding in QTech India

Post transaction, Dixon holds 51% shareholding and Q Technology (Singapore) Private Limited holds 49% shareholding in Q Tech India.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has advised Dixon Technologies (India) Limited in relation to the acquisition of 51% shareholding in Kunshan Q Tech Microelectronics (India) Limited (“Q Tech India”) by way of a combination of primary and secondary investment.

The Transaction involved undertaking legal due diligence on QTech India and execution of the transaction documents - the share subscription & purchase agreement and the shareholders’ agreement.

Upon the consummation of the Transaction, Dixon holds 51% shareholding and Q Technology (Singapore) Private Limited holds 49% shareholding in Q Tech India.

The transaction was executed for the purposes of collaboration in manufacturing, sale and distribution of camera and fingerprint modules for mobile handsets, internet of things, systems and automotive applications.
