CAM assists BNP Paribas on restructuring

AXA Investment Managers, BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management and BNP Paribas Asset Management have merged under a unified structure.

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM), BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management (BNPP REIM) and BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) have merged their main legal entities globally under a unified structure owned by BNP Paribas Cardif. They now operate under a single brand name – BNP Paribas Asset Management.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas assisted BNP Paribas in the India and GIFT-IFSC leg of the restructuring and regulatory advisory.

The transaction was led by Akila Agrawal (Senior Partner) and Neham Tayal (Partner), with support from Associates Nishant Tiwari, Diya Narag, and Avni Srivastava.

Gazal Rawal (Partner), with support from Yash Mukadam (Senior Associate) and Associates Havish Gotecha and Aastha Vyas advised on SEBI related aspects of the transaction.

Ranganayakulu Jagarlamudi (Consultant- Regulatory Affairs) provided strategic inputs on SEBI related matters.

Ketaki Mehta (Partner - Gift City), with support from Jinisha Motwani (Senior Associate) advised on IFSC related aspects of the transaction.
