CAM, Trilegal, SAM act on Bharti Airtel, Carlyle, Alpha Wave investing $1 billion in Airtel's Nxtra Data

Alpha Wave Global is the lead investor, investing $435 million in Nxtra.

Bharti Airtel, Carlyle Group, Alpha Wave Global and Anchorage Capital are set to invest $1 billion into Airtel’s data centre arm, Nxtra Data Limited.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas is advising the Bharti Group on this investment.

Incoming investor Alpha Wave Global is the lead investor, investing $435 million in Nxtra. Controlling stakeholder Bharti Airtel is investing $290 million, while existing investor Carlyle is investing $240 million. Bringing in the rear, Anchorage Capital is investing $35 million in Nxtra.

Nxtra specializes in designing, building, and operating a large network of smart, resilient, and sustainable data centers across more than 120 locations in India. They offer secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade data center services including colocation, interconnect, migration, and support services.
