GalaxEye has raised US$ 3.5 million in their seed funding round led by SpecialeInvest.

The other investors included Artha India Ventures, Veda VC, Anicut Capital, Upsparks and a bunch of entrepreneurs including Nithin Kamath (founder/CEO of Zerodha), Prashant Pitti (Founder/CEO of EaseMyTrip), Abhishek Goyal (Founder/CEO of Tracxn) and Ganpathy Subramaniam (Partner at Celesta Capital).

GameChanger Law Advisors represented Speciale Invest Fund on its seed stage investment in spacetech startup GalaxEye.

The transaction team comprised Amrut Joshi and Saket Rachakonda.

According to Economic Times, the newly infused funds will be used to hire employees and expedite the launch of its multi-sensor satellite for earth observation, which will mark the beginning of commercialisation with GalaxEye customers across the United States, Europe and Africa
