Founded in 2023 by Shashwath T R and Sharan Srinivas J, Mindgrove Technologies is an Indian semiconductor startup developing high-performance microprocessors based on the open-source RISC-V architecture. Their System-on-Chips (SoCs) are designed to power a range of devices, including smartwatches, smart locks, CCTVs, power meters, and smart fans. By leveraging the RISC-V architecture, Mindgrove aims to provide cost-effective and efficient semiconductor solutions for the growing demand for smart devices in India and globally.

This $ 8 Mn investment will fuel the commercial rollout of Mindgrove's first microcontroller chip, "Secure IoT," expected to reach the market by mid-2025.
