In India, the acquisition involved the transfer of IFF's Pharma Solutions operations, primarily housed under Danisco Nutrition and Biosciences India Private Limited. This entity was part of the broader transaction, which also included certain product lines from IFF's Nourish segment. The CCI approved the acquisition, noting that Roquette's existing Indian subsidiaries—Crest Cellulose Pvt. Ltd., Sethness-Roquette India Ltd., and Roquette India Pvt. Ltd.—would integrate the acquired businesses
IFF’s pharma Solutions business is a well-established developer and manufacturer of pharmaceutical excipients and includes its global specialty solutions business supporting industrial and methyl cellulosic food applications.
Roquette is a global leader in plant-based ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients for the health and nutrition sectors.
