JSA acts on Chakr Innovation $23 million Series C fundraise

The funds raised will support Chakr's manufacturing, global expansion, and R&D.

JSA Advocates & Solicitors has advised Chakr Innovation Private Limited and its promoter Kushagra Srivastava, on raising USD 23 million (~₹193.5 crore) from a Series C fundraise led by Iron Pillar.

The transaction team was led by Lalit Kumar (Partner) and Bharati Joshi (Partner), with assistance from Ruchika and Muskaan Gupta (Associates).

The vendor due diligence team included Ruchika, Muskaan Gupta, and Sameer Dahiya (Associates).

Kumarmanglam Vijay (Partner) along with Tejasvi Shukla and Harshita Agrawal (Associates) advised on tax law aspects.

Chakr Innovation

Chakr Innovation is a deep-tech startup focused on developing clean technology solutions, including emission-reducing devices for diesel generators, and is also working on indigenous energy storage technology aimed at reducing India’s dependence on lithium-ion chemistry.

The funds raised in this round will support manufacturing, global expansion, and R&D, including the establishment of a new materials science centre for critical technologies.
