JSA, Trilegal act on Apax Partners investing ₹1,500 crore in iD Fresh Food

Apax Partners' investment allowed for partial exit of existing investors Premji Invest and TPG NewQuest.

Apax Partners has acquired approximately 35% stake in iD Fresh Food (India) Private Limited through a combination of secondary share purchases from Premji Invest and TPG NewQuest and a primary investment, for approximately ₹1,500 crore.

JSA Advocates & Solicitors advised iD Fresh Food on this transaction.

Trilegal advised Premji Invest and TPG NewQuest on their sale of share and partial exit from id Fresh Food. The Firm provided comprehensive legal support on the deal, including conducting a vendor due diligence on the Company, and advising the sellers across all aspects of the transaction, including transaction structuring and the drafting, review, negotiation and finalisation of the transaction documents.

The transaction team was led by Ankit Kejriwal (Partner), and comprised Rutvij Naik (Senior Associate) and Associates Aakanksha Ranjan and Dhanush Thonaparthi.
