Khaitan, Trilegal act on JSW Cement ₹3,600 crore IPO

The net proceeds from the IPO will be utilised for debt repayment and capital expenditure towards establishing a new integrated cement unit.

JSW Cement Limited has made an initial public offering of equity shares aggregating to ₹3,600 crore, comprising a fresh issue aggregating to ₹1,600 crore and an offer for sale by selling shareholders aggregating to ₹2,000 crore.

Khaitan & Co advised JSW Cement on this IPO.

The transaction team consisted of Sudhir Bassi (Executive Director), Madhur Kohli (Partner), Aayush Mohata (Partner), Johann Valladares (Senior Associate), Sarjana Das (Senior Associate), Reshmi Prabhakar (Associate) and Sairandhri Nawale (Associate).

The Firm had also advised the Company on their 2024 IPO.

Trilegal advised the book running lead managers JM Financial Limited, Axis Capital Limited, Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, DAM Capital Advisors Limited, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Private Limited, Jefferies India Private Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, and SBI Capital Markets Limited, on this IPO.

The transaction team was led by Richa Choudhary (Partner), with support from Avanti Kale (Counsel), Maitreya Rajurkar (Counsel), Aayush Khandelwal (Senior Associate), Shivayana Balodia (Senior Associate) and Associates Yug Gambhir, Deepanshu Agarwal, Dinank Bhanot, and Harsh Handa.
