Luthra and Luthra advises SBI on sanctioning ₹1,370 crore to Sarla Garments

Sarla Garments LLP has secured a construction term loan of ₹1,370 crore from State Bank of India.

Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India advised SBI on sanctioning the loan. The Firm was involved in drafting and finalizing the transaction and security documents.

The transaction was led by Rachit Verma (Managing Associate), with support from Naina Sharma (Associate), working under the guidance of Sharad Joshi (Partner).

Sarla Garments is primarily engaged in the textile business and by virtue of the successful closure of the transaction has now expanded into the real estate sector.

The funding provides essential capital to support the Sarla’s diversification, enabling the development of a large-scale commercial project in the heart of Bengaluru and allowing the Sarla to establish a foothold in the real estate sector.
