NovoJuris, Khaitan, Morrison Foerster act on Renesas Electronics acquiring Steradian

Japanese semiconductor manufacturer, Renesas Electronics Corporation has acquired Steradian Semiconductors, a fabless semiconductor company based in Bengaluru, that provides 4D imaging radar solutions, in an all-cash transaction.

NovoJuris Legal represented Steradian Semiconductor.

The transaction was led by Sharda Balaji (Founder), Amol Chitnis (Junior Partner) and Manasa Prasanna (Senior Associate).

Khaitan & Co acted for Renesas Electronics. The core team consisted of Zakir Merchant (Partner), Sarthak Sarin (Partner), Eklavya Malvai (Senior Associate), Vishakha Singh (Senior Associate) and Utsav Lohia (Associate) with assistance from the following:

The acquisition will bolster Renesas’ automotive and industrial sensing portfolio with Steradian's radar technology.
