Pioneer Legal, AZB, Foley & Lardner acted on Bharat Forge Limited's acquisition of AAM India Manufacturing Corporation Private Limited at an enterprise value of ₹544 crore.

Pioneer Legal advised Bharat Forge on this acquisition deal.

AM India Manufacturing Corporation Private Limited (AAMIMCPL), a subsidiary of American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings. The acquisition includes AAMIMCPL's commercial vehicle axle business in Pune and Chennai, along with the Pune Engineering and Development Centre.

This is expected to provide Bharat Forge with access to AAMIMCPL's technology and expertise in axle manufacturing, as well as its customer base. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the year, subject to customary closing conditions and approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
