SAM advises KCC Buildcon on sale of annuity road assets to Build India Infrastructure Fund

The assets form part of the 669-kilometre, four-lane greenfield Delhi–Amritsar–Katra Expressway.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised KCC Buildcon Private Limited on the sale of 100% stake (through concession-agreement linked tranches) in three operational annuity road assets to Build India Infrastructure Fund.

The transaction team was led by V R Neelakantan (Partner) along with Samridha Neupane (Partner) and Manmay Mridul (Senior Associate).

The assets form part of the 669-kilometre, four-lane greenfield Delhi–Amritsar–Katra Expressway, being developed to connect Delhi to Katra in Jammu & Kashmir, with a spur leading to Amritsar. The road projects operate under NHAI’s Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).
