Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co acted as the legal advisor to Shoden Developers Private Limited (part of the House of Hiranandani Group) in relation to its acquisition of property at Andheri, Mumbai.
As part of this transaction, SAM advised on all legal aspects, including conducting title due diligence of the property and drafting, negotiating, and finalizing the transaction documents. The transaction was structured as an acquisition of a land parcel admeasuring approximately 1 acre, together with a commercial building located in Andheri, Mumbai.
The transaction team was led by Bhoumick Vaidya (Partner), Harshini Kotecha (Principal Associate), Yash Bhansali (Associate) and Nishikaa Kanakia (Associate Trainee).
The House of Hiranandani Group plans to develop a premium commercial tower on the site with an investment of approximately ₹500 crore and a total leasable area of around 4,00,000 sq. ft.
