SAM advises Steadview Capital on Pre-IPO Secondary Purchase of Shares in Wakefit

The transaction forms part of a broader pre-IPO round ahead of Wakefit’s proposed public listing.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. has advised Steadview Capital Mauritius Limited on its pre-IPO secondary purchase of equity shares of Wakefit Innovations Limited from Verlinvest S.A.

The SAM transaction team was led by Harshita Srivastava (Partner), and Palomita Sharma (Associate), who advised on all aspects of the transaction.

They were supported by Rahul Yadav (Partner) and Nimish Malpani (Principal Associate) on the tax aspects.

The transaction forms part of a broader pre-IPO round ahead of Wakefit’s proposed public listing, for which the company filed its red herring prospectus with the Registrar of Companies, Karnataka at Bengaluru, and the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
