S&R Associates, Baker Mckenzie act on New Mountain Capital acquisition of PerkinElmer's Applied, Food and Enterprise Services biz

New Mountain Capital, a growth-oriented investment firm, has acquired the Applied, Food and Enterprise Services businesses from PerkinElmer, Inc.’s Discovery & Analytical Solutions segment for approximately ₹200.74 billion ($2.45 billion).

S&R Associates advised New Mountain Capital on the Indian law aspect.

The S&R team was led by partner William Vivian John (Partner), and included Dhruv Nath (Partner) and Siddhi Kudalkar (Associate), Arunima Vijay (Associate) and Shubhangi Rai (Associate) on corporate matters, and Riyan Vatcha (Associate) and Chirali Jain (Associate) on employment and real estate matters; Arpita Garg (Partner) and Shekhar Shrivastava (Associate), Vedika Lakhotia (Associate) and Ramkrishna Panigrahi (Associate) on banking and finance matters; and Sumit Bansal (Partner) and Shivani Chhabra (Associate) and Taranjeet Singh (Associate) on tax matters.
