Aditya Birla Digital Fashion Ventures Limited has made a strategic primary investment of ₹125 Crore in WROGN (Universal Sportsbiz Private Limited) with an option to undertake a majority stake acquisition.

Trilegal advised Aditya Birla on this investment deal.

The transaction team consisted of Vaibhav Kothari (Partner), Tanya Nanda (Counsel), Anirudh Banga (Senior Associate), Chandni Ochani (Senior Associate), Arushi Chandak (Senior Associate), Vidur Prabhakar (Senior Associate), Amartya Srivastava (Associate), Mayank Jain (Associate), Lakshaya Grover (Associate) and Parinishtha Ganz (Associate).

As per a recent report by TMRW X Bain & Company, the fashion and lifestyle space is India’s second largest consumer category, valued at $110 billion with approximately 10% online at $11 billion.
