L Catterton Asia Advisors (LCAT) has proposed an investment of approximately ₹491.9 crores ($60 million) in Drools Pet Food Private Limited, the top local pet food company in India.

TT&A advised LCAT in this deal.

The transaction team consisted of Sachin Mehta (Partner), Swati Chauhan (Partner), Namrata Bhagwatula (Managing Associate), Bonny Singh (Senior Associate) and Aditi Somani (Associate).

Drools will leverage LCAT's expertise in the pet food sector to further strengthen its position as the largest domestic player in India's burgeoning pet food market.
