Sumitomo Corporation is set to collaborate with TruAlt Bioenergy Limited to operate TruAlt Gas Private Limited as a joint venture company for the purpose of developing and setting up compressed biogas plants.

The deal pertains to formation of a joint venture by Sumitomo and TruAlt Bioenergy for production of compressed biogas and associated by products, and acquisition by Sumitomo of 49% stake in TruAlt Gas from its existing shareholder.

TT&A is advising Sumitomo Corporation on this transaction.
