Which law firms advised Turtlemint on its ₹882.67 crore IPO?

Technology-led insurance distributor Turtlemint became only the second insurtech company to list in India.

Turtlemint Fintech Solutions Limited listed its equity shares on the NSE and BSE on June 29 after its ₹882.67 crore initial public offering. Turtlemint is a tech-enabled insurance distribution platform that connects customers, insurance advisors and insurers.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Turtlemint and its investor selling shareholders on the IPO, while A&O Shearman acted as sole international legal counsel to the underwriters.

The SAM transaction team advising Turtlemint was led by Partners Nikhil Naredi and Krupa Brahmbhatt, with support from Senior Associate Anoushka PV and Associate Dhanashree Singe.

The investor-selling shareholders were advised by SAM Partner Manjari Tyagi, Principal Associate Tarun Srikanth, Senior Associate Jheel Bhargava, and Associate Bhumika Panigrahi.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as domestic legal counsel to the book running lead managers on the IPO.

The CAM team was led by Partner Ravi Dubey, Regional Co-Head, Capital Markets - West, with support from Principal Associate Mansi Jhaveri; Senior Associate Anuj Gupta; and Associates Anomitra Debnath, Aniruddh Saraswat, Tanishq Mohta, Akshita Dhawan and Sajal Soni.

The investor selling shareholders included Nexus Ventures IV, Ltd., Peak XV Partners Investments V, Blume Ventures Fund 1X, Blume Ventures (Opportunities) Fund IIA, GGV VII Investments Pte. Ltd. (Notable Capital), Dream Incubator Inc. and Humming Bird Investment Holdings SPV.

In 2015, the company became the first to adopt the point-of-sale person distribution model. It also had the largest certified PoSP network among its peer group as of March 31, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
