Nishith Desai Associates Delhi Partner Pratibha Jain is leaving to join Everstone Group. Jain will take over the role of PM Devaiah, who has left Everstone to join Adani Group as Group General Counsel.
While confirming the development, Jain said that she will serve as Group General Counsel of Everstone with effect from May 1, 2021.
Commenting on this development, Nishith Desai said,
“Pratibha joined us from Goldman Sachs about 10 years ago and helped establish our Delhi office. We have had a great decade together and have become family. Now she is joining our valuable client, Everstone. So, all in the family.
We wish her a great time ahead. In conformity with NDA’s distributed leadership business model and ethos, Pratibha has trained and would be leaving behind a number of capable leaders, to fill her shoes.”
Jain joined Nishith Desai Associates in 2011 and has been heading the firm's Delhi office. She has previously worked at Goldman Sachs, Skadden Arps and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
The firm recently saw the exit of Simone Reis and Rajesh Simhan, who have started Anagram Partners.
