SAM Partner Shashwat Kumar joins IndusLaw as Partner in Infrastructure & Energy practice

Kumar will be working out of the firm's Delhi & NCR office.

Shashwat Kumar has joined IndusLaw as a Partner in Infrastructure & Energy practice at the firm's Delhi & NCR office.

Kumar is a 2006 graduate of the University of Delhi.

He has 17 years of experience in advising clients on a wide range of infrastructure sectors including highways, railways and sports infrastructure. He has also advised several national and multi-national companies in the power sector, oil & gas PSUs, RITES Limited, Ministry of Railways etc.

Kumar has extensive experience in the power generation (conventional, renewable and nuclear), electricity transmission and distribution sectors. He has advised on several utility scale solar PV, rooftop solar PV, floating solar, wind energy, bio-mass, MSW projects etc. He also represents clients before the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL), Electricity Regulatory Commissions (ERC), and Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB).

Prior to joining IndusLaw, Kumar was a Partner with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas’ Projects and Project Finance practice for 4 years.
