Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Sugandha Asthana has left the firm to join FPL Technologies as General Counsel & Policy Lead.

Asthana graduated from Symbiosis International University in 2007 and has experience as an in-house counsel and also at law firms. Asthana began her career as Manager (Legal) at ICICI Bank and shifted to J. Sagar Associates, where she worked for 6 years.

She then moved to AZB & Partners in Mumbai, before joining Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, where she worked for more than three years.

FPL is a fast growing fintech startup based in Pune. In June 2019, FPL launched OneScore, an app to check and monitor credit scores. It is the only app in India that helps consumers improve their credit score via an AI-based score planner.
