Khaitan Legal Associates is looking to hire Associates in Mumbai.

Number of Positions: 2 (Two)

PQE: 3-4 years

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: LLB

Job Requirements

  • The requirement is for experienced individuals in the corporate advisory and transactional team.

  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English and ability to present and discuss information, including legal issues, transactions clearly and concisely.

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage and coordinate multiple assignments, and priorities simultaneously.

  • Adept in interpretation of various Laws and suggest adaptations.

  • Experience of drafting and thereafter negotiating agreements with minimum supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Draft, review, and negotiate definitive agreements, including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, share subscription agreements, joint venture agreements, and other related documents.

  2. Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence and prepare detailed reports for proposed investments, acquisitions, and business transactions.

  3. Coordinate CP, Closing and CS actions.

  4. Conduct research and support on matters relating to the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and contract laws.

Remuneration: Commensurate to experience and qualification.
