Kochhar’s hiring spree continues: JDS Law Chambers’ Jivesh Chandrayan joins as Partner

Jivesh Chandrayan, founder of JDS Law Chambers has merged his practice with

Kochhar & Co to join the firm as Partner in its corporate team in Delhi.

Jivesh is a graduate of Delhi University and also holds an LL.M. from Cardiff University.

On merging his practice with Kochhar, Chandrayan said,

“I am excited to be part of the Kochhar team and look forward to significantly contributing to the firm’s growth as part of the Corporate & M&A Practice Group.’’

The firm has been on a hiring spree for the last two months after the firm saw the exit of three of its Partners to Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Recent hires include banking partner Sumit Phatela in the Gurgaon office and Gaurav Chatterjee in the real estate and litigation team at the Chennai Office. The firm has also hired Prateush Sharma as indirect tax partner in Mumbai and Saloni Gupta as corporate partner in Delhi office.
