Advocate Vivek Sharma appointed Advocate General of Chhattisgarh

Government issued the notification on November 21.

Advocate Vivek Sharma has been appointed Advocate General of Chhattisgarh.

The State government issued a notification in this regard on September 21.

Sharma, who is 45 years of age, was earlier serving as Additional Advocate General (AAG).

"In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 165 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Chhattisgarh, hereby, appoints Shri Vivek Sharma, Additional Advocate General, Bilaspur as Advocate General of the State of Chhattisgarh with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office," the government notification read.
