Industrialist Anil Ambani has filed a defamation suit before the Bombay High Court against Republic TV and its editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami claiming that the channel's reports on his financial transactions has caused irreparable damage to his reputation [Anil Ambani v. ARG Outlier Media Pvt Ltd. & Ors.]

The plea seeking an order of temporary injunction against ARG Outlier (the company which owns Republic TV), Goswami and other unknown entities (John Doe parties) is likely to be heard by Justice Milind Jadhav on April 1.
