Centre clears transfer of Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak from Gauhati to Orissa High Court

Justice Pathak became a permanent judge of the Gauhati High Court on November 12, 2018.

The Central government has notified the transfer of Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak from the Gauhati High Court to the Orissa High Court.

In its meeting held on May 26, the Supreme Court Collegium recommended his transfer.

He was enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh on September 12, 1990. He primarily practiced in civil, constitutional, land acquisition and service matters.

He was elevated as an additional judge of the Gauhati High Court on May 22, 2013 and became a permanent judge on November 12, 2018.
