Cleary Gottleib promotes NLS grad Nallini Puri to partnership

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has announced its annual promotions, with three made up globally. The firm has promoted M&A specialist Nallini Puri to partnership.

Nallini works on mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, and equity capital markets transactions, and has advised various corporates and private equity funds on cross-border investments.

A graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Nallini joined the firm in September 2008. Prior to joining Cleary, she was an associate at the New Delhi offices of Amarchand Mangaldas.

She also has a BCL from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom (2007) and holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law.

The other new partners are litigation lawyer Abena Mainoo and regulatory lawyer Hugh Conroy in New York
