Collegium recommends transfer of DS Naidu J. from Kerala HC to Bombay HC

Shruti Mahajan

The Supreme Court Collegium, on January 10, has recommended the transfer of Justice DS Naidu to Bombay High Court from the Kerala High Court.

Naidu J was proposed to be repatriated to his Parent High Court in Andhra Pradesh according to the Collegium’s resolution passed on September 22, 2017. However. the Collegium, in its recent resolution, has superseded its earlier resolution.

“In supersession of the above recommendation, the Collegium resolves to recommend that Mr. Justice D.S. Naidu be transferred to Bombay High Court, instead of being repatriated to his parent High Court viz. Andhra Pradesh High Court.”

The Resolution states that the supersession and the decision to propose Naidu J to be transferred to Bombay High Court is “in interest of better administration of Justice.”
