Contempt of court plea filed in Delhi HC against AAP leaders, journalist for targeting Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma

A criminal contempt of court petition has been filed before the Delhi High Court against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal and journalist Saurav Das, alleging that they conspired to target Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma.

A Division Bench of Justices Navin Chawla and Ravinder Dudeja will hear the matter on Friday.

Apart from Das and Kejriwal, AAP leaders Saurabh Bharadwaj and Gopal Rai have also been made respondents to the case.

The plea has been filed through advocate Ashok Chaitanya after getting consent from Delhi government's Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal), Sanjeev Bhandari.
