AKS Partners has announced the promotion of Ratik Sharma to Associate Partner.

Sharma is an alumnus of Bharati Vidyapeeth and an active member of the Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG).

He joined the firm in 2023 as a Principal Associate, focusing primarily on Dispute Resolution. Sharma has over eight years of experience in both litigation and arbitration, including extensive involvement in nuanced domestic and international commercial arbitrations. His expertise spans investment agreements as well as construction and infrastructure projects.

Speaking on his promotion, Sonal Kumar Singh, Managing Partner, said,

“In a short span of time, Ratik has contributed significantly to the key litigation matters and arbitrations handled by the firm. His experience is diverse, and hence, he handles civil & commercial litigation across a variety of forums with as much ease and finesse as the domestic and international arbitration work. He deserves every bit of this promotion, and we look forward to building a great future for our disputes practice with him.”

Speaking on his promotion, Ratik Sharma also commented,

"I am humbled as well as excited to be promoted as an Associate Partner at AKS Partners. The firm is committed to helping its professionals grow and it is evident from robust leadership that now has five members at the partnership level. The firm has provided me with incredible opportunities for growth and development, and I am grateful for the trust and confidence Sonal Sir has placed in me. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the firm's practice."
