Akshay Bhargav joins Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as Partner from Khaitan & Co

Bhargav will be working out of the firm's Mumbai office.

Akshay Bhargav has left Khaitan & Co to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner in its General Corporate Practice at Mumbai.

Bhargav is a 2008 graduate from Bangalore University. He was made Partner at Khaitan in 2018. Prior to that, he was on secondment with Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP in New York for nearly a year in 2016–2017.

With over 13 years of experience, Akshay’s primary focus has been on advising clients on private equity and venture capital transactions. He has also advised clients on other corporate and commercial matters such as acquisitions, strategic alliances, foreign investment laws and general corporate laws.

Welcoming him to firm, CAM Managing Partner Cyril Shroff said,

On joining the firm, Bhargav said,
