Former Director & Head - Legal, Compliance & Regulatory at Max Life Insurance, Amitabh Lal Das has joined Bajaj Auto Ltd as General Counsel.

Das is a 1995 graduate of the Delhi University.

Das is a CXO level, senior corporate leader with nearly thirty years of work experience, specializing in General Counsel plus roles, having deep domain expertise across varied sectors and significant horizontal skill sets, including in the allied areas of compliance, regulatory, board affairs and corporate governance, public policy, finance, HR, DEI, risk management and internal assurance.

Prior to joining Bajaj Auto, he held the position of Director & Head - Legal, Compliance & Regulatory at Max Life Insurance Company Limited for over 8 years.
