Aneesh Gupte leaves Desai & Diwanji to join SAM as Partner

Gupte is joining SAM after spending 13 years at Desai & Diwanji as a Partner.

Desai & Diwanji Parter Aneesh Gupte has joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.

Gupte is an alumnus of the University of Mumbai. He is a Solicitor associated with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society.

Gupte specialises in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, PE-VC and early-stage enterprise investments, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and restructuring. He also deals with formulation of exit strategies, commercial contracts and general corporate law. He regularly advises large domestic companies, MNCs, PE-VC firms, start-ups and early stage emerging companies.
