Samvad Partner Aparna Ravi set to join S&R Associates

Ravi will be based out of the firm's Mumbai office.

Aparna Ravi is set to join S&R Associates on July 1 as a Retained Partner in Banking & Finance practice at the firm’s Mumbai office.

Ravi received a A.B. in Government magna cum laude from Harvard University in 2000 and a J.D. cum laude from New York University School of Law in 2003.

Her prior experience includes working with Samvād Partners in Bengaluru, where she was a Partner, Credit Suisse in London, and Weil, Gotshal & Manges in New York and London. 

Ravi's practice focuses on banking and finance, private credit and restructuring. She advises global and Indian financial institutions, alternative finance providers, private equity sponsors and companies on a range of financing transactions and matters, including acquisition financing, structured finance, refinancing, venture debt, restructuring and insolvency resolution.

She has also advised on mergers and acquisitions and foreign investment matters in a variety of sectors. Ravi was a member of the Bankruptcy Law Reforms Committee constituted by the Government of India to draft the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
