Argus Partners announces Partner Promotions

The promotions have been made across three distinct designations.

Argus Partners has announced Partner designations and promotions at the Firm: Soorjya Ganguli has been designated as Senior Partner; Jitendra Soni has been elevated to the firm’s Equity Partnership; and Jaidrath Zaveri has been promoted to Salaried Partner.

Ganguli is a key member of the Firm’s Executive Committee, playing a central role in shaping its strategic direction, overseeing management decisions, driving growth and expansion initiatives, and supporting the Firm’s long-term business and client development priorities. He is part of the Firm’s Dispute Resolution & Arbitration practice, with a strong focus on arbitration and extensive experience in complex disputes, particularly across the power, automation, and infrastructure sectors. 

Ganguli has been associated with Argus Partners for the past 14 years.

Soni is an integral part of the Firm’s Corporate and Technology practice. He advises startups, growth-stage companies, and investors on a wide range of corporate transactions, including strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and venture capital investments, particularly in technology-driven sectors. His expertise spans both traditional and emerging technologies such as e-commerce, cloud computing, SaaS, fintech, digital payments, blockchain, gaming, and immersive technologies, alongside significant experience in data protection and cross-border data governance.

Soni has been associated with Argus Partners for over 3 years.

Zaveri is a part of the Firm’s Corporate practice and brings significant experience in general corporate advisory, venture capital and private equity transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He has advised a diverse set of investors, founders, and companies across various stages of their growth journey, on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions. His practice spans sectors such as e-commerce, ITeS, financial services, fintech, insurtech, and other services industries. In addition to transactional work, he regularly advises on commercial contracts, structuring, strategic collaborations, externalizations, internalisations, and exit strategies.

Zaveri has been associated with Argus Partners for over a year.
