AZB Partner Prashanth Sabeshan moves to Argus Partners

Sabeshan will be working out of Argus Partners' Bangalore office

Prashanth Sabeshan has joined Argus Partners as a Partner in the Corporate and Infrastructure practice at the firm's Bangalore office effective from November 15, 2021.

Sabeshan is a 1997 graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore.

With over 22 years’ experience, he is dual qualified in India and UK and has worked with leading law firms in India and abroad.

Prior to joining Argus Partners, Sabeshan was with AZB & Partners, and has also worked in Singapore for close to 4 years at MEC, Norton Rose Fullbright and Herbert Smith Freehils as Senior Legal Counsel, Of Counsel and Senior Associate respectively.

Before shifting to Singapore, Sabeshan was with Amarchand Mangaldas for over 10 years.

Sabeshan specializes in the sectors of general corporate, infrastructure, electricity, renewables and clean energy, oil & gas, ports, banking and project finance, foreign investments  and regulatory and policy advisory sectors.

Sabeshan has recently authored the book “Investing in India’s Infrastructure and Energy Sectors – Laws and Practice” published by Thomson Reuters and is also a visiting faculty at a few law schools. 

On his joining the firm, Managing Partner Krishnava Dutt said,
