CAM Partner Manisha Kumar to join Flipkart as Head of M&A Legal

Kumar will join Flipkart as Head of M&A Legal on May 2.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) Partner Manisha Kumar has resigned from the firm to join Flipkart as Head of M&A Legal, with effect from May 2.

Commenting on this development, CAM Managing Partner Cyril Shroff said,

"She goes with our best wishes. We wish her all good things."

Kumar joined CAM in 2016 from J. Sagar Associates. She has previously also worked at Wadia Ghandy & Co. and Gagrats & Co.

Having completed law at the University of Delhi in 1996, Manisha is a qualified Solicitor with the Supreme Court of England and Wales and the Bombay Incorporated Law Society.

She specializes in cross-border private equity investments, mergers & acquisitions (both in the listed and unlisted space, across diverse sectors), and has rich experience in investment restructuring and securities law advisory. She has advised many financial services companies including SEBI-registered intermediaries and non-banking financial companies.

On her decision to move in-house, Kumar said,

"I am very excited about joining Flipkart. I have had an amazing tenure at CAM and will always be grateful to the firm for providing me a platform for learning and growth."
