Former Trilegal Counsel Harshit Anand has joined Anand Prasad's AP & Partners as a Partner in the firm's corporate practice.

Anand is a 2013 graduate of National Law University, Jodhpur. He has close to 10 years of experience working on cross-border M&A, PE and advisory matters, with extensive experience advising on cross-border M&A deals, particularly those involving Japanese investors. He has also been actively associated with the developing landscape for special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC) deals in India.

He has previously worked at Trilegal, with ONGC as an associate legal advisor, and in L&L Partners’ corporate and securities law practice. He has also worked as a foreign counsel (on secondment) at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto’s Tokyo office.

Commenting on Anand's addition to the partnership, Prasad said,
