Himanshu Goswami has joined Khaled Al-Marri & Partners, a Dubai-based boutique law firm, as Head of its Transactions and Regulatory Practice.

With over two decades of experience, Goswami is an experienced transactional and litigation lawyer, specializing in cross border investments, Exchange Control laws (FEMA), IPR, Company law and real estate law.

As Head of the Transactions and Regulatory Practice, Goswami will advise clients on complex transactions, regulatory structuring, compliance-driven advisory, and cross-border matters, working closely with the partners to support clients navigating evolving legal and regulatory frameworks in the UAE.

Prior to joining Khaled Al-Marri & Partners, Goswami operated Goswami & Nigam FZ LLC, a legal consultancy firm in UAE.

Speaking on this development, Kushagra Ashok Arora, Founder, said,

“For nearly two years, we knew that transactions and regulatory advisory would growingly become a critical practice area for the firm, especially given the nature and magnitude of multifaceted transactions handled by the firm since the very day of the inception. Therefore, the reins of this practice area had to be bestowed upon an exceptionally talented and experienced lawyer, and I am pleased that the practice is now under the leadership of Himanshu. We welcome him onboard and look forward to working alongside him.”

“The firm’s transactional and regulatory practice has played a central role in its offering to all our clients. I stand with Kushagra’s selection and join in his belief that Himanshu is growing the firm’s transactional practice in the MENA region alongside all of us.

Commenting on the development, Abdul Sattar Pirzada, Co-Founding Partner and Arbitration and International Disputes Practice Head, said,

“The firm has always focused on building practices that are thoughtful, well-integrated, and aligned with the needs of our clients. Strengthening our transactions and regulatory capabilities is a natural progression of that approach. Himanshu’s experience and perspective add meaningful depth to the firm, and I look forward to working closely with him as we continue to grow the practice in a measured and cohesive manner.”

Commenting on joining the firm, Goswami shared,

“Khaled Al-Marri & Partners has built a stellar reputation for delivering top-quality work throughout its practice areas and the kind of clients the firm advises and the matters it handles, I am genuinely glad to now be part of this platform and to formalise this under the Founder and Co-Founders vision and hope to further its practice and reach and to work with the wonderful team and environment built by this firm.”
