Indigo General Counsel Priya Mehra resigns

Indigo General Counsel Priya Mehra has resigned from her post, according to sources.

It is understood that she is currently serving her three month notice period.

Mehra had joined Indigo in December 2016. Prior to that, she was working with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Singapore. She was part of the firm’s India team led by Jai Pathak, Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Singapore office and the Pacific Asia region.

Before joining Gibson in 2008, she was working with Jones Day in Singapore, a position she took up in 2007 after five years at AZB & Partners. She is a graduate of Delhi University.

She is dual qualified to practice in India and England & Wales, and has an extensive background working in the Indian markets. Her areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, privatization, capital markets and general corporate advice.
