IndusInd Bank appoints Piramal veteran Anand Vardhan as General Counsel

IndusInd Bank Limited has appointed Anand Vardhan as its General Counsel and designated him as Senior Management Personnel with effect from September 30, 2025, according to a SEBI filing.

Vardhan has close to 26 years of experience in legal and compliance functions. He was previously Group General Counsel at Piramal Group, which he joined in 2013. His earlier roles include General Counsel at SUN-Apollo Ventures, Associate Vice President and Head – Legal at HDFC Property Fund, and legal positions at ICICI Bank and Tata Housing.

A graduate of Hansraj College and the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, Vardhan is also a qualified company secretary, holding a membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
