[Exclusive] JSA Partner Manav Raheja leaves to join Veritas Legal

Manav Raheja will join Veritas Legal with effect from April 1, 2021.

J Sagar Associates Partner Manav Raheja is leaving the firm to join Veritas Legal as a Partner, according to sources.

Veritas Legal is in its sixth year of incorporation and now has nine partners. Three partners have been added during the year of the pandemic, out of which two are lateral and one is homegrown. During the year that was, the firm has increased its partnership strength by 50%.

Manav specialises in Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity investment transactions, Joint Ventures and corporate advisory matters.

At JSA, Manav was part of the leadership group for the Start-up Initiative. He advised entrepreneurs and start-up companies by handholding them through the legal and regulatory environment of doing business in India.

He is a graduate of KC Law College, Mumbai and also holds and LL.M. in Banking & Financial Laws from Boston University School of Law.

“Manav is backed by a considerably diverse experience in the corporate advisory and transactions sphere, and his skill-set will be a great value addition to the team, thereby augmenting the corporate practice of the Firm. We welcome Manav to the Firm,” Abhijit Joshi, Managing Partner.
