JSA Partner Mathew Thomas joins Saraf and Partners in Capital Markets Practice

Thomas will be working out of the firm's Mumbai office.

JSA Partner Mathew Thomas has joined Saraf and Partners as a Partner in Capital Markets Practice at the firm's Mumbai office.

Thomas is a 2010 graduate of National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi.

Thomas has extensive experience advising both domestic and international clients on a wide range of capital markets transactions. His expertise spans across initial public offerings (IPOs), rights offerings, qualified institutions placements (QIPs), and public offerings of units and debt securities by Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs).

Before joining Saraf, Thomas was as a Partner at JSA. He has previously also worked at Trilegal, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., and Khaitan & Co.

On Thomas' onboarding, Mohit Saraf, Founder & Managing Partner at Saraf and Partners, said,
